The information that is compiled herein has been gleaned from Family Bibles, U.S. Census Records, Cemeteries, Cemetery Records, Obituaries, Newspaper Articles, Court Records, Other Family Histories, Genealogy Departments on the Internet, & Personal Family Records.
I have been actively researching my lineage since 1985 and have finally come to the conclusion that it will never be completed.
Therefore, in the interest of time, I have prepared all the information I have in my computer in the simplest, most user friendly format, in hope that future researchers will not have to duplicate all these years of research.
I wish to thank everyone who has contributed to this research, especially my husband, Jim, who tirelessly and without complaint, took us on some rather interesting vacations and for keeping the window down while he smoked his cigars. Also, my kids, now grown, Loy Carlene, Kari LeeAnna,and Kristi Rayelynn who shared our wonderful scenic adventures. We still have our forked sticks. And lastly, to my Mom, Hazel Gaston Wortman who listened patiently for hours on end,I think she was awake and only questioned my sanity a few times.
