Syngenta (Huddersfield) Sports and Fitness Ltd is a private members Club in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Membership of the club is open to anyone. Our facilities provide the perfect setting for a variety of sports, events,  and family celebrations. At present we offer: Fitness Suite  Football Croquet Ladies Hockey Snooker Angling Canoeing  Bowling  Function Room Meeting Room The ambience in the club house bar is warm and inviting and it’s great to have a well earned drink after a hard game or to relax with a nice refreshing soft drink after a heavy session in the gym. Sky Sports News is shown throughout the day, and benefiting from Sky Sports & ESPN we also show live sporting events on our Large Screen LCD TV in the Bar Lounge, and the Big Screen in the Jubillee Lounge. The bar stocks a wide range of beers, wines and spirits including Timothy Taylors Best Bitter cask conditioned ale. The Club has twice been CAMRA's National Club of the Year in 1986 and 1991, and has been awarded Huddersfield CAMRA's Winter Pub of the Season 1998/99. We were given an award for appearing in the Good Beer Guide for 10 consecutive years between 1993-2002. There is also a wide choice of soft drinks, energy drinks and confectionery on offer behind the bar.  Located near to the Galpharm Stadium, with ample parking facilities and easy access to the M62, the club is a popular base for Huddersfield Town and Hudderfield Giants supporters, as it provides free parking for members on match days. Food is available during the week 12-2pm, With a choice of daily specials from £3.30 and hot/cold snacks available from the Club’s kitchen. There is a popular Sunday Carvery available 12-4pm from £4.95. The in-house caterers are also available to provide catering for functions.  For just £15 per month membership - open to all - we offer a modern and fully equipped fitness suite with nearly 50 stations as well as a range of free weights. We have a function room available to hire for all kinds of functions (weddings, birthdays, christenings, meetings etc) As a member, you can hire our private function room free of charge by booking through the Duty Manager, as well as participating in a range of sporting and leisure activities including snooker, bowling, croquet, football, and angling. Having ample car parking facilities we are ideally placed, for all sporting activities. We have 2 floodlit bowling greens available for members. We have regularly hosted the Yorkshire Merit Bowling Final, Local football league semi-final and finals, and we are home to Huddersfield's U3A organisation for snooker, bowls and bridge.
