Let me take this opportunity to explain some of the fascination I have for Darth Maul.
To me, Darth Maul is much more than just the man show on The Phantom Menance. I see him as a fierce warrior in the art of the Japanese Samurai. He is a complex character, with many rituals, both in his fighting techniques and the way he lives. I strongly believe he is not a mindless thug, but a man with a deep conviction of honor and duty, to his Master as well to his Zabrak tradition. He takes pride in his heritage, combining the Sith tradition, and the ways of the Goddess Nimith.
Darth Maul is the ancient Warrior God, the One who has been worshiped throughout all the ages. He comes to life here again, in our stories and our dreams.
