Part III
I have been wandering the galaxy insearch of Jedi who had killed my father,
biding my time for when I take retribution for what that Jedi did to my
father…and to my mother and I. And as I walk in the protection of the
shadows of the darkness, veiling myself in the Darkside, I keep my senses at their
peak, my eyes keeping detailed watch of everything about me.
The underbelly of Coruscant – dismal and dangerous and no place for a
lone woman. But I am no ordinary woman…I am Khamiera Sarin, Daughter of Darth Maul,
Dark Lord of Sith. No one will stand in my way or pay with their lives.
My eyes look with scrutiny upon all about me, either living or not. My senses
tell me many things, and my nose tells me that I am surrounding with death and
decay, but I have learned to put up with offensive odors.
I make my way along a passageway and suddenly, I sense the presence of many
minds gathering behind me and I can hear their thoughts…they plan on ambushing
and robbing me, possibly to rape me. I let a grin slip across my face, knowing
that my soon to be attackers are absolutely no match for me.
They follow along the entire length of the passageway, keeping to the shadows
as I do, but as I round a turn in the passageway, I stop and hastily examine my
surroundings. I find above me what appears to be a catwalk and instantly with
the aid of the Force, I leap up and land perfectly upon the catwalk, hastily
blending into the darkness and I hide myself in a place where I have perfect
view upon the passageway far below me.
I wait only minutes when I finally see a group of males, all of many different
species and sizes, appear about the turn and instantly begin to look about with
disbelief for they do not find me moving down the passageway
ahead of them.
I growl deep in my throat with pleasure, feeling the energies of the Darkside
begin to flow and intensify about and within me. I can feel my body and mind
merge and become one with the Darkside, making my senses ever more acute than
ever could be. I can hear their heart beats, smell their scents, taste them in
the air, and most of I can feel their fear.
"Where did he go?" I hear one of the large human males
exclaim, unsure as to the reason behind my vanishing. I chuckle quietly for
they think me a male…if they only knew!
They begin to look about – left, right, ahead of them and behind them, even
down to see if I had disappeared down a hidden manhole. But they do not look
up. Idiots!
Slowly, I slip my weapon from its hiding place within my robe as I stealthily
make my way through the shadows, and suddenly, I leap over the railing and I
land upon my feet in the center of the entire gang of males and quickly, I
begin to act the one's who are quick enough to turn about and came at me.
I move faster than sight, sending my would-be attackers flying in all directions
as I kick them and utilize the Force to blast them away from me.
And suddenly three of the smaller, but apparently "smarter" of
the gang hastily remove themselves from the fray and instantly they begin to
fire their blasters at me. But before fatal shots touch me, I activate my
weapon and deflect the energy bolts back at those who had fired them, and they
fall to the ground lifeless from blaster wounds.
I am silent as I stand motionless, my foes finding their feet as the
less injured get up from the ground, holding my ignited weapon before me, prepared
to continue. They still cannot see my face, my hood remaining upon
my head, the light about me not enough to reveal my appearance to my attackers…or
shall I say, my soon to be dead attackers.
"He…he is a Jedi!" I hear one of them exclaim in fear as they
appear to realize what I am…but they are far from being right.
I am instantly fuelled with rage at being called a Jedi – I am not, nor will
I ever be Jedi!
I growl aloud and I charge at the remaining number of the gang and I impale
one as I slice the arm off another and before I can attack the others, I
suddenly hear the sounds of approaching Republic law enforcement
officers.
I growl aloud once again in rage and with the use of the Force, I charge
at the remainder of my foes and quickly, I lay them down, dead at my feet.
Standing amongst the corpses lying upon the ground, I deactivate my
sabre and place it upon my hip as I turn my eyes to the dark skies above me. I take
a careful breath as not to inhale too much of the horrid air of the
place and suddenly I turn on my heel and quickly as I make my way back the way
I had been headed, I race back to Scimitar easily hidden in an old abandoned
landing facility, cloaked and awaiting my return.
I will continue my search…no matter how long it takes, I shall avenge my
father and the Sith shall hear the name Darth Maul again.
