| IBATIA - CM (Zancudo x Urga) was the second daughter of this cross with Zancudo and Urga. Bred by the Yeguada Militar, they used this mare line repeatedly as a source of Nana Sahib blood through her grandam Egina with the well known military stallions JAECERO and MALVITO. IBATIA had only 4 foals but her sons by KOMUSTE sired over 65 get in Spain, Belgium and France and were used by the Yeguadas of Juan Del Cid, Manuel Navarro Soldana and Marques de Domecq. Shorter in the head than her full sisters , IBATIA was deeper jowled , wide chested with strong body muscling. She still retained the longer slimmer neck found in the Zancudo get. SZED bought this mare in hopes of getting either her or her full sister exported to the USA to its sister farm , then in Indiana. Repeated treatments failed on both mares. In fact, like HAGIA, only one foal was exportable. This was ANDALUCIA by Marmol YM (Tabal x Escala II). SZED had sold this filly and her dam to the Stanleys of Sitting Rock Spanish Arabians. IBATIA was subsequently stolen in the middle of the night much as was the famous YM stallion Galero. Disraught, the Stanleys returned to purchase HAGIA as a replacement. As the HAGIA daughter , *SZED HALIME sired by our Spanish National Champion MIZAR, , was safely in the USA as a yearling, we were eventually persuaded to let HAGIA go. HAGIA was in foal to PEPETE and had the colt BRAVADO.Sadly none of the progeny of either of these two mares were able to be exported...and it was not for lack of trying! As with HAGIA, the offspring from IBATIA tend to be red chestnuts which carries through several generations. |

| IBATIA - Yegua Alazana, era la segunda potra de los tres cruces de Zancudo y Urga, criado por el Yeguada Militar. Ellos utilizaron esta linea maternal en su yeguada de 20 cabezas para aprocachar la sangre de Nana Sahib, famoso hijo de Razada importado por el Duque de Veragua en 1926. Como su abuela materna, EGINA, era una hija propia de Nana Sahib, los hijos/potros de HAGIA, IBATIA y NACHA fueran deseados. JAECERO y MALVITO , hijos de EGINA fueran caballos Sementales Del Estado muy importantes. IBATIA tenia solamente 4 productos pero sus hijos por KOMUSTE tenia mas de 65 productos por Francia, Belga y Espana. y eran utilizados por las Yeguadas de Juan Del Cid, Manuel Navarro Soldana y Marques de Domecq. Mas corta de cabeza de sus hermanas, IBATIA tenia la mandibula mas grande y redonda, el pecho y las anclas anchas y muy musculadas. Casi el tipo de Quarterhorse Americano. Pero tambiem tenia el cuello largo y refinado muy tipico de los productos de Zancudo. SZED compro esta yegua con la esperanza de exportarla o su hermana a USA para guarder este sangre tan valuosa en su Yeguada alli, asi como igualmente agui en Espana. Pero era imposible y igual de su hermana, HAGIA , podimos exportar solamente una hija, ANDALUCIA por Marmol YM (Tabal x Escala II). Como ya tuvimos *SZED HALIME, hija de HAGIA y nuestro Campeon Nacional, MIZAR, alli en nuestra Yeguada de Indiana, vendimos IBATIA y su potra a Los Sres. Stanley de Sitting Rock Spanish Arabians S.A.. Pero la vida de IBATIA no era tranquilla porque era robbado en media noche casi igual como el famoso Semental Galero. Menos mal que aparacio despues de 6 meses de busca, pero mientras sus compradores venian pidiendo por HAGIA. Resulto que ellos tampoco podian expotarla ni sus hijos. HAGIA entonces era llena de PEPETE y tenia un potro, BRAVADO. Como su propia hermana HAGIA, los decendentes de IBATIA son casi siempre alazanes rojizos, un fuerte genetico lo cual pasa por varios generaciones. |
