Easily, one of the hardest parts of T21 is the card count. It is difficult to master, and even the greatest players mess up sometimes. These are some SUGGESTED tips by myself... and I will have other tips from other players too...
CONFIDENCE, CONCENTRATION, COOLNESS..... The Three C's to the COUNT
Be Confident of your abilities. Don't just sit there and say "I can't do this!" You have to believe that you can do it. If you lose hope then you don't try as hard as you might. I PERSONALLY GUARNTEE ONCE YOU FEEL YOU CAN COUNT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO!!
Don't let anything stupid get in the way. When you count out loud to yourself sometimes, it seems really easy, right?? It is really similar when counting cards. All you have to do is keep focused. If something else in the room (chat or real) is bothering you... take down your count and let the distraction pass.
Keep your cool. Just like everything, you may get frustrated with a wrong count. Then you play with anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. Suffering leads to the Dark Side.... Trust me people... Keep your cool!
Okay, here are the ground rules:
1- Count every card you play except for jokers and lesser cards. (A lesser card is a gold 5432A of spades which you get after a lesser).
2 - Practice counting every game just for the sheer experience.
3- If you DO lose a count, there are a few ways to get it back!
a) If you play a 5432A of spade and get a joker for what seems like no reason, then your count is either 12/25/38/51
b) If you have a meta or a goldrush, roll it 9 times. If you are able to go the 9 full rolls, then your count is either 11/12 (okay pick one!)
