You should be carefull, and don't order pre-cooked food that's been sitting there for a while. Taiwan has weird food, but supposedly it's very good. Ding Tai Fung is a world famous bins and dumplings restaurant. Another restaurant is Quiznos but it's not the same as in the U.S..
