- Central Mountains & Plains Section of The Wildlife Society 51st Annual Summer Conference: August 29-31st Head to Laramie, WY this summer to learn and mingle with wildlife professionals. Registration for students is $35 and includes two technical sessions and dinner at the banquet. There is also a chemical immobilization course offered for $225. If you can't make it to Anchorage in September, check out this meeting! This is the best way to meet LOCAL employers and colleagues. Students are strongly encourged to attend. - The National Wildlife Society Annual Conference: Sept. 22-27th IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA!!! The CSU Wildife Society is going to Alaska for the National Conference and you can come too! The agenda includes workshops, field trips, lectures, and of course..... QUIZ BOWL!!!!! The club has already made travel and lodging arrangments but you can make your own arrangments and come with. The estimated costs sum to about $600 (including lodging, plane, and registration). Contact or logistics manager Ryan Fortier for more information on getting to and staying in Anchorage. Travel grants from CMPS of TWS are available to use for this conference; applications are due JULY 15th!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is bound to be one of the coolest conferences on the books, don't miss it!
