ODAWA TROOP WINTER CAMP Walsh's Farm - February 14 - 16, 2003 Clayton Road, Cumberland Township Introduction Welcome to the ODAWA Troop Winter Camp. This year’s camp is focused on each group practicing basic winter camping skills, participation in the ODAWA Sub Zero Club requirements and some surprise first-aid drills. There will be a supply of Straw will be available at the main entrance to the camp, any extra will be divided up to the sections, that require it, after all sections have arrived and used what the need. The cost for the straw, will be included with the registration fees. We would like an e-mail by Dec. 15, 2002, with your approx numbers, so we can let Bob Walsh know how many bales of straw we will need. We are estimating approx 3-4 persons per bale of straw. Registration Because mother nature has not decided whether there is to be a winter or not, we will be attempting to be as flexible as possible in the registration process. The registration form included in this package should be e-mailed to Tyler Houghtby ( houghtbyt.@aol.com) by Jan 20/03. This will give us an idea of the number of participants to expect. We will order a few extra badges to allow for last minute additions as well. Fees will not be reimbursed to those that do not attend. The Troop Scouter from each Troop is to report to the Camp HQ upon arrival with a copy of the Troop’s final registration numbers. The Camp fee will be collected by Jim Cossar at the camp on Saturday. Payment can be by cash or cheques. Cheques are to be made payable to 1st Vars-Navan Scout Group. Camp crests will be handed out at the camp closing ceremonies.
