In November 1999, I got a letter from the no-profit association I'm member and the letter said "We regret to inform you that the little girl you adopted at distance, Geeta Chimbada, died because of diarreah.
And I wonder how can a little girl die because of something so normal? Why so many children starve? Why no one does anything for them? We all could support a child with few dollars a month. But it's easier to say "The Government should help them" or "What do the big organizations exist for?".
Well, I believe that if every man/woman could understand that he/she can change the world doing of his/her best, then the world would really change and it would be a nice place also for those millions of children asking our help.
ANOREXIA AND BULIMIA
In the third World children do not have any food and here in Europe and US there are so many young ladies soffering from anorexia and bulimia. These girls and women are not crazy persons who just try to be good looking, loosing some weight. These persons deeply suffer, they try to show that they have evrything under control, but they actually are victims of their desease. I suffered a lot and if anyone would like to share her feelings with me, please, do not hesitate, I understand how hard it is to accept that a little piece of bread is in your stomach and you'd kill yourself for have eaten it.
And if you suffer from anorexia and bulimia don't be afraid to ask help, only when you decide to recover, you can recover. Nobody can do it for you, no one can decide for you. the life is yours and you can decide what to do with it, but please, do not waste it in a toilet.
