'54 CHEVY SEDAN DELIVERY

This is the Speed Shop Express kit.I started out by opening up the doors and filling in the holes. I tubbed out the chassis to accommodate the wheels from the Mimic series from Pat Dunnivan and the tires are from Satco the Bridgestone Expedia's.The brake and fuel tank are plumbed and I used Model Car Garage calipers and MAS rotors. Paint is a gold basecoat with Candy Apple Red from Black Gold.I smoothed out th fire wall and got rid of the hood hinges. For the interior I used a '95 Corvette dash that I narrowed and the seats from the same kit. The CD player,CD ,airfreshner,sunglasses, keyring,
and the flocking are from Detail Master. The seat belt and the retractors I made myself the hardware for the seatbelts are from Model Car Garage.The engine is from the '68 Corvette Roadster kit.I have an electric fan, heater and radiator hoses,carb linkage,carb base plate are Detail Masters.The Blower pulley's are from MAS and the Alt.,aircond.,and the power steering pulley's are from Detail Master. The brackets holding these all on I made from a pop can.The exhaust is hand bent aluminum tubingand some parts box mufflers.  The first contest that I took it to Was the K.A.M.S.contest in April of 1999 and it won first in Light truck and van and won Best Paint and Best Chevy. So enjoy looking at it .
