My City, My Cemetary

This town I've lived in all of my life
Has given away to itself under strife
The old days of fun way back when I was young
Are now distant echos of a song once sung

A beautiful city now wasting in rot
all the fields are paved over for parking lots
Industrial Zones are encroaching my home,
but I won't give in until the last rock is thrown!

                   This isn't my city,
                  This is my cemetary!

           Tourists come and tourists go
But they don't see the decay; so slow
And if I had the fucking chance
I would stop your imperial advance
So please, get out of my town,
Or I'll burn your fucking warehouses down!

                   This isn't my city,
                   This is my cemetary.

I had a dream, but you ruined it.
For your capital gain, and we all submit...
