Part 4
	A few more years go by. Joe and Ruth are blessed with a naturally born child, Joseph Martin Jr. They call him Joey and are happily surprised by his arrival. Six year old Tad is very happy to be a big brother. He tells Dixie about Joey, and she is happy for him. Tad does his best to look after and help care for his brother. Tad and Dixie have become best friends as they grow up together, attend the same school, and are in the same grade. They always go to one another's birthday parties. Sometimes their parents have one big party for both of them. At Joey's birthday parties, Dixie keeps Tad company since neither of them really knew Joey's friends. Tad does the same for her at Lanie's and Will's parties. Dixie had her girl friends, and Tad had his guy friends, but Tad and Dixie remained best friends. Everyone at school noticed how much time they spent together. One day, during 5th grade, something happened that made their friendship stronger than before.
