I have tried several times to do a web page, seems like something always happens that I have to start over. This time I had to start over because I can't figure how to get in to edit my last page. I am not crazy just a little messed up.
My page will cover my family, my dogs, the truck I just got rid of and my a job driving Tour Buses. The last week in June 2000, I sold my truck. I drove trucks for 34 1/2 years, and finally got my Passenger License for buses, which I only drove about 2 months. I learned the hard way, by experiencing the do's and don'ts of driving a Bus. I drove from Dallas, Texas to Orlando, Florida and took a Church group to Disney World. Then I took a tour to Durango, Colorado to the Durango/Silverton narrow gauge railroad with a troup of Boy Scouts, also dropped the younger ones at their campsite, deep in the wilderness where people looked at the bus and you just knew they were thinking "WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE?" We were on two lane dirt roads in the camping area, looking for a certain camp ground and were given wrong directions. Then we took a Church group to Lansing, Michigan to the Michigan State Univerity for a Seminar. Most seem to be School or Church groups. The only bad thing is you sit for days until they are ready to head back to Dallas. I took a company group from Garland, Texas to Arlington, Texas to the Ranger's Baseball game. They all got drunk and one got thrown in the ballpark jail..fighting with her boyfriend. Then she was brought out for me to baby sit her. Then she got in a fight with a co-worker in the back of the bus and I got an elbow in the ear trying to break it up. No more bus driving for me.
Prissy was my registered floppy eared Mini Pinscher. Prissy ran on the truck with me and I would have gone crazy without her. We even had puppies February 29, Leap Year. At 6AM that morning she woke me up in labor, we had 4 puppies in 30 minute intervals. What fun we had raising the puppies in the truck, everywhere I moved there was a puppy. Prissy is gone now as of April 16, 2007. I just got me a Great Pyrenees female puppy, they are guard dogs for sheep, goats, cattle and horses against wild dogs and coyotes. She was born November 11, 2007 and she eats like a horse. I have an old female Greast Pyrenees that has adopted me till her owner gets out of jail, if he does. Here is a picutre of them. |
