While renting the house, you will have access to Tahoe Donner amenities, which include golf courses, pools, fitness centers, equestrian centers, and Donner Lake beach access. Unfortunately, not all of these amentities are guaranteed to be available year-round, especially during the winter when several things (like the golf courses and equestrian center) are closed for the season.
Down the road, you'll find grocery stores (Safeway & Albertsons), outlet shops, gas stations, a hardware store, a video rental shop, Rite-Aid, and a ski shop. Also, there are several restaurants (sit-down and fast-food) close by, including Zanos (an Italian restaurant), several pizza places, Panda Express, Taco Bell, a Chinese restaruant, Starbucks, a Mexican restaurant, and more!
