The Pet Corner 4

By now, I am sure you are wondering just how many pets we have!    As of December 2006, we only have 5 cats now.  :) We gave away Cinnamon the rabbit.    Ginger and Nutmeg both disappeared a year or two ago.   We gave away most of Rosemary's kittens, except we kept Mittens and Snowflake.   After we lost Rosy's entire 3rd litter, we got Garfield and Shell, two orange kittens.   We could not house-break Garfield so he went back to the barn a month or so later.

Garfield is the lighter cat. <-- Shell is the darker cat. <--

When Shell was a year old, she had 5 kittens, born April 15th, 2007, during a nor'easter! Snowflake is the daddy of all her kittens. There were 2 boys--the orange ones, named Pumpkin and Garfield II.   The 3 girls--the tortiose-shell ones, were named Princess, Rainbow, and Shadow. (below) We kept the orange one with white feet for Jamie.

Jamie wanted a cat named Garfield so much that we named his kitten Garfield Too.   But we just call him Garfield, it's simpler.

Labor Day Weekend, my Rosemary was killed by a car.   Truman said I could keep a kitten.   I chose Streaky, but decided to rename her Pansy.   I just love her unique coloring, especially the one orange leg!   :) <--

Shell had her second litter 4 mos later on August 16-17.   This time there was only one orange male, named Prince.   The females were named (counter-clockwise) Stormy, Smoky, Dottie, and Streaky.
