Historically, Asian Americans have been subjected to racial and judicial discrimination. This treatment followed them to their place on the American silver screen. Although a few, Sessue Hayakawa, Goro Kino, Charles Fang, Jack Yutaka Abbe, Henry Kotani, Kisabura (Thomas) Kurihara and Tsuru Aoki most prominently, started receiving credits for their roles in the mid 1910's, many more had their on-screen roles listed as --'Uncredited' or not at all. This site is dedicated to acknowledging the many Asian American actors, actress and other talented individuals who have struggled to gain a glimmer of recognition.
