10 November.

Awel Aman Tawe have been
refused further funding by the DTI. The group are now seeking funding elsewhere. However and cash must some from a source which is happy to give the funds with no financial return or say in the management of the project.

If either instances were to occur, then the 'referendum' would be invalid as the people of the communities who voted for the scheme, did so on the condition that it would be wholly managed by the community and run as a non-profit organisation. We look forward to see how the group progress from this point on....

The Test mast has finally been removed
from the proposed site.  However,  some
disturbing  facts have  come to  light. On
visiting the site shortly after the mast was
removed  TAG discovered that the  Cairn
on Mynydd  Uchaf had  been  vandalised.
This  type   of  vandalism   would be  very
difficul  to  carry   out   by   individuals  as
the Cairn has been completely 'uprooted'.
There   was  no   damage  to   the  Cairn
before  the test   mast   was   dismantled.
We  leave  it to  you  to  draw  your  own
conclusions  as  to  how  this may have
happened...

We have been informed by the Country Guardian that the BWEA have 'hijacked' the website www.countryguardian.co.uk and used this website address to provide a link to their (dare we say it .... 'biased') website. This only goes to show that BWEA really do see Country Guardian as a threat - which we see as a huge compliment to the work of the Country Guardian. Afterall, why would BWEA bother if it didn't mean that much to them.

If you were wondering where you can get on to the official version of the Country Guardian Website then point your mouse on the following link.

Since Awel Aman Tawe published their 'report' on the consultation process, the guest book on their website has somehow 'vanished'. AAT may have thought this a smart move to prevent any negative feedback from members of the community (or as AAT would write in in their report 'agressive behaviour by the Tairgwaith Action Group and their supporters') and an attempt to censure the 'open' consultation process they contunially profess to carry out. However the guest book link remains on the Welsh language pages of their site. To view the guestbook and add your comments click on the link below and then on 'view guestbook'.
