| A different look. Prior to an AROC event in November 2000 which comprised of almost 2,000km of grueling driving around Malaysia, I decided to switch back to my original set of wheels, 6.5x16" Speedlines with hardly used 205/55/16 Michelin Pilots as I wanted to conserve the 17" set. I had the wheels painted in gunmetal grey just to stand out from the other 156s. Sort of mixed reactions to the colour scheme, though. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| THE OTHER CAR - PROTON SATRIA 1.3GLi | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| SECOND CAR OCTOBER 1999 TILL FEBRUARY 2002 This is my other car for use as a daily runabout, town use and spare car should the need ever arise. It's a Proton Satria 1.3GLi. I purchased it brand new when I still had my 168 Super. It was my alternative transport whenever the 168 Super was in the shop for repairs. It proved to be useful, handy and economical but lacks any character. I've sold off this car in February 2002 and replaced it with a 1996 146Ti, dubbed Project 146. |
