| The meaning of Takin' It By Force Youth Ministries, which gets it's name in reference to Matt. 11:12. The Bible states in Matt. 11:12, " And from the days of John the Baptist til now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. So, what is takin' it by force? The violent who take it by force are the people of enthuasiusm and commitment. They are willing to respond radically to the message of God. This idea trancends the softness of the churches today. It refuses to follow society's "idealism" of tradital religion that provides either pure entertainment or dead religion. This violence, though, is only caused by one thing. It is a military advance of God's own chosen people, in relationships, households, cities, and nations, by allowing the Holy Spirit power to invade thier lives every single day and not compromising or settling for anything less then total victory. Everything we need, God has already provided. It is right there and all we have to do is take it. Sometimes, Satan will steal our stuff. He is the king and master of this world who holds a lot of our stuff. It is time to take it back- by force. So, are you are you a part of Takin' It By Force? So, what is ministry? To minister is a task to which the closet servent of God is assigned. They are those who walk hand in hand with God and preach the gospel, not by just words but by actions. To minister means to perform service or tribute. The Bible speaks of one who conveys yieldness, serventhood, and obedience. These tie very close together. To be in the military, you are part of a very elect group. There are things that you learn and study. You train vigorously all for the goal of victory. But unless you are a servent in the army, nothing will ever get done. Someone has to follow and someone has to lead. So, your youth leaders are only as strong as those willing to follow them, or thier youth group.
