Blaze's Jazzy Jen

						Jenny is the puppy that my mother kept from Sydney's first litter.  She is a sweetheart.  Her favorite past time is playing with a ball.  In fact she loves tennis balls so much that she ground all of her teeth down to nubs from years of chewing on them. Jenny is almost 13 years old now and despite a couple scares she is still going strong.  She was spayed in the Spring of 2005 when we found three small mammary tumors on her.  In the fall of 2005 she scared us again by developing what we believe was an auto immune response to Lyme Disease.  It was touch and go for a few weeks but after treatment with antibiotics and steroids she rebounded back to puppyhood. She has moderate hip dysplasia, but you would never know it by looking at her.  She will still insist on playing for hours outside, though she'll be a bit stiff that night.
