Tucker, which can be found from the Other Animals page, as well as graphics and updated pictures of Fly.

April 30, 2004 - Fly and I attended a breed match in Acton, Maine.  Fly took a first in Open Bitch, then went on to Best of Breed, and a Group 3!  She showed really well despite it being close to 90 degrees out.  It was a very long day, but she held on long enough to pass her Canine Good Citizen test.  Her name is now BonniDune's Wanna Fly By Dawn CGC.  I am very proud of her.

April 20, 2004 - Fly's mother, Tainsh New Dawn at BonniDune (Darcy), and sister, BonniDune Hyland "Myst", cleaned up at the 4 day show in Terre Haute, IN.  Thursday and Friday Myst took Winners Bitch for back to back 4-point majors while Darcy took Reserve Winners Bitch.  Then on Saturday and Sunday Darcy took Winners Bitch for back to back 3-point majors while Myst took Reserve Winners.  Darcy also took Best of Breed one of the days.  Big congrats to Kelly Whiteman and Debbie Willoughby, who co-owns Myst with Kelly.

April 10, 2004 - Fly and I attended a Beginner's Tracking Clinic at Gemini Dog Training in Littleton.  I am brand new to tracking, but am hooked already.  Fly excelled at the tracks that we did, including a 45 degree angle turn.  I can't wait to start working with her and prepping for her certification.

March 12-14, 2004 - Dad and I took Fly to the Louisville Cluster Dog Show.  She showed ok on Friday at the Kentuckiana Tartan Border Collie Club specialty, but did not place.  On Saturday at the Evansville KC she strutted her stuff to win her class!  And on Sunday she took third in her puppy sweeps class, while her sister Myst took first and Reserve Winner's Bitch at the KTBCC supported entry show.  I am so happy with how Fly showed.  Thank you to everyone who helped me at the show, I learned so much, and I greatly appreciated the compliments and assurances that I'm on the right track.

January 10-12, 2004 - Fly showed in Fitchburg, MA.  Her first appearance in the breed ring and she did ok.  Since neither of us have ever been to a show before it was a totally new experience.. I learned a lot and know what to work on with Fly now.

Many thanks to Lee Levy, of Tonalee Border Collies, who gave up his weekend to handle Fly in her first shows and to give me a strong foundation in the art of conformation.

December 5, 2003 - Fly was scheduled to make her debut in the showring, however due to the blizzard that hit New England we scratched.
