The Cleveland Indians didn't sign the option of pitcher Mark Wohler and designated hitter Ellis Burkes. Burkes contact was worth 7 million dollars. They have to buy out his option for $500,000. The Indians might sign Burkes through arbitration after the World Series.
The Indians also signed Tim Laker's contact. They have until Nov. 15 to sign closer Danny Baez.
