Littlest Angel
The Littlest Angel
Long, long ago legend had it if someone in your family was
bad sick; if you saw the Littlest Angel, then that person had someone watching over them. Anita had heard this story from her
mommy, daddy and grandparents for as long as she could remember! And to her being four was a long time of hearing this. She hoped this story was true, because something was real bad wrong with her mommy. She didn't know what cause everytime she came into a room the grownups would stop talking. But mommy was getting really skinny and didn't look good now. Mommy kept telling her she was just fine, but Anita knew better. And when daddy talked about mommy, she could see tears in his eyes. Anita would sit by the big window in the living room just staring out looking for the Littlest Angel. She would sit there hour after hour, day after day, but to no avail. She would ask her grandpa when was the Angel coming, and he would squeeze her tight, and tell her in her ear---- "pumpkin have faith she is coming." Her mommy was so sick now, and Anita knew she had to come soon. As she got ready for bed she said her prayers and asked for the help that was needed. She lay staring out her window and could not believe her eyes. Was it really true? What was that out there? Yes, it was. She jumped up and ran to the window. There flapping her wings was the Littlest Angel and she was smiling. Anita ran from her room calling MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY! I saw her! You are going to be okay now! "What did you see my pumkin?" grandpa asked. "The Littlest Angel grandpa." He nodded his head and knew this was true.
The End!
