I was born in Northern Kansas in 1975. My parents are also native Kansans. My father works for the Corp. of Engineers (the flood control projects he dealt with, only lasted 2-5 years). So I've moved around quite a bit during my childhood.
During this time I attended public school and my grades suffered because of frequent transfers. In 1987 our family moved to Oklahoma. My grades came up a little due to the change in teachers and their willingness to work with me. However, in 1988 with my parents support, I transferred to Heritage Baptist School near Tulsa. With this change my grades went way up. This school helped me overcome my "Publick Skool" ;-) disabilities. I graduated 3rd out of 8 with a grade point average of 93%.
I thank my parents for their obedience to God in bringing me up right. And I thank God for leading my parents in the paths of righteousness. All honor and glory be to the Savior, Whom I desire to know more with each passing day.
In 1995 I met a man by the name of Paul. After getting to know him, I decided I would keep him ;-) . We were married about two years later. Married life has been great. God has bless our marriage with two beautiful children.
In September of 1998, our daughter, Rebecca Lyn, was born. She has been an inspiration to me. Becky is an unending bundle of energy now that she is walking, talking, running and climbing. When she has an opinion about something she'll let you know.
In June of 2001, our son, Paul Robert was born. He is growing and changinge daily. He has a mild temperment and is a joy to be around. His birth stats were as follows: 7 pounds 14 ounces ~~ 20 3/4 inches.
