He had three sisters Gozie Hale-Ledbetter, Lula Hale-Frazier, Leona Hale- Mcferron. His wife was Sadie Hale and they had three children Emma Hale-Bradford, Fannie Hale-Johnson, Helen Hale-Bradford.
Helen Hale-Bradford: Daughter of Alphonzie Hale had one daughter Deoloris Bell 1937-1964 and one grandson Michael Culbert.
Emma Hale-Bradford: Daughter of Alphonzie Hale had one son Norris Hopkins.
