I went
to a private christian
school in Gainesville, Georgia from Kindergarten through 8th grade
(Westminster Academy). In 9th
grade, I started public school at West
Hall High in Oakwood. I was one
of the quiet people that several people knew of but didn't really
know. Although my circle of close
friends was small compared to others, I had fun and I have a lot of good
memories from my days at West Hall.
I was involved in the music program, youth apprenticeship program,
and one or two of the clubs at school.
I graduated from West Hall in June of 1999.
In the Fall of 1999, I began attending Gainesville College in Oakwood, Georgia to get my AA in
Business Administration. At Gainesville College,
I was involved in student government, Students In
Free Enterprise (SIFE), the Gainesville
College music
program, and the Honors Program. I was named to the merit list and the National
Dean's List. I graduated from Gainesville College in May of 2003.
In
August of 2003 I had my first classes at Georgia
State University. For my first
semester, I was a Music Industry student.
I enjoyed my performance classes and the music program, but the
change of majors added approximately two more years to my undergraduate
degree. I decided to change my major
back to Business Administration. In
the Fall of 2004, the Robinson College of Business
at Georgia State changed the name of their
Business Administration degree to Managerial Sciences. Tentatively, I will be graduating in the Spring of 2006 with my BA in Managerial Sciences-Human
Resources Management. I hope to
further my education in the future by getting my Master's Degree in either
Business or in Education.
