Bill's Fishing Hole

In 2001 I started building my fishing pond. Here is a set of the first photos.
I know that these photos are a little confusing so let me explain what you are looking at. The first photo is an overall shot of the whole pond. It is facing north, the upper part of the photo show the ponds dam. The dam will measure roughly 60 feet long and 40 feet wide and be around 10 to 15 feet high above the water level of the pond. The pond it’s self will measure about 90 feet wide and between 120 or 140 feet long. The topsoil has all been removed, and the Westside of the pond has been dozed to about 4 feet down. The pond depth will be around 10 feet at the deepest. Right now I am waiting on the water to evaporate out to the pond that has filled it from the last rains we had here. I will have more photos soon, showing the dozer and backhoe working on the pond and what it looks like now with all the water in it.

In November I completed the pond, I would like to thank David Potter for is help with his backhoe and time. I will have more photos of the completed pond soon.
