| This is where I review things like Movies, Concerts, and Albums.. CONCERTS 6/28/04 - Aimee Mann - Toad's Place - New Haven, CT what an awesome show....i feel bad cause i forgot the name of the opening band..but the lead singer of it played guitar for aimee - she played a lot of magnolia songs and some stuff from 'i'm with stupid' ...she was also real talkative..saying how she takes boxing now and she'd love to have it out with bob dyland....she slays me.. 7/21/04 - KISS - Jones Beach - Wantaugh, NY what can i say? of course it kicked ASS!!!...poison opened for them and ya know they are like vintage now so they're cool..and then comes KISS...woo-hoo!! i'm still pissed that ace frehly is not touring with them but they are just so awesome in conert...always ending with 'rock and roll all night' with the confetti show ...and for 50 something year old guys...they friggin rocked! Movies the village - what a disappointment...i'm actually not sure how high my standards could have been since there has always been something nagging me about m. night's movies and that is that he shows what would be scarier not seeing...the aliens in 'signs'...the 'creatures' in the village...i don't know...i just think the scariest things are those we don't see Anchorman - ok i saw this three times in theatres...i loved it...my fav character is 'brick' he is the best...i though the subleties were amazing...not all that slapsticky or campy at all...i love will ferrell and i was psyched by the cameo's of my other two favs...ben still and luke wilson who is so damn HOT dodgeball - kinda of along the same lines as anchorman...complete with the vince vaughn, ben stiller troupe...very good tho ugh..saw it 2 times in theatres so far.. napoleon dynamite - i only saw this cause i heard it started as a college project..so i thought i sho uld support...it was good...slightly slow but napoleon's character is very catchy... Farenheit 911 - so amazing...go see it...even if you are a dumb-ass bush fan :) coming soon.... reviews for: Garden State The Exorcist |
