Row 7: Ch 3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in 1st ch2 space, ch 8, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in next ch2 spot, turn. Row 8….: Repeat rows 3 - 7 five more times. After six sets of the above are created finish as follows: Row A: Ch 3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in 1st ch2 space, ch 11, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in next ch2 spot, turn. Row B: Ch 3, 2dc, 3dc in ch2 spot, sc in next 5 ch sts, (hdc, dc, hdc) in next ch st, sc in next 5 ch sts, (3dc,ch2,3dc, sl st) in next ch2 spot, fasten off. Finishing: Weave in loose ends. Take your ribbon (2.5" wide) and weave it in and out, leaving the ch 10,& 12 rows on top and the ch 8 rows underneath. With matching yarn tie in the middle the four rows together so they gather nicely (rows that are ch10 & ch12 are grouped together and you should have six sets of them). I used this yarn to attach bells and presents to several pots. Then I took two white poinsettias flower tops and hot glued them in two spots. |
