“TOASTMASTERS & THE FAMILY” PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2004
Rules and Regulations
-
The theme of the contest is “Toastmasters
and the Family”. Entries should capture the beauty and family bonding of
a family in any indoor or outdoor environment. They should depict family
in any social, community, recreational, cultural, educational or any
activities. The photograph could be posed or in candid.

The contest is opened to all Singapore
Citizens and Permanent Residents and in one Open Category only.

All original images and works submitted
must be taken in Singapore.

Entry is free.
Each photograph submitted (up to a maximum
of three photographs) must be:
(a) Colour-print only;
(b) Original work taken by the entrant;
(c) 20 x 25.2 cm (8R size) or 20 x
30.4cm (Super 8R size);
(d) Clearly labeled at the back of each
print, the title of each entry, name and address of the entrant. The
information must correspond with that given in the accompanying entry
form.

Composite photographs, images manipulated
are excluded from the contest.

The Organiser will exercise every care in
handling the entries, but will not be held responsible for any damage or
loss.
Judging criteria:
(a) Compositional expressions;
(b) Good and novel caption;
(c) Relevance and creativity in
composition of theme; and
(d) Good photographic techniques.

1st Prize : 1 year Pass to Singapore
Discovery Centre?
2nd Prize : half year Pass
to Singapore Discovery Centre?
3rd Prize : 3-month Pass to
Singapore Discovery Centre?

All entries must be collected on Saturday
17th April 2004 at the
“Toastmasters & the Family” at 5pm in
the Singapore Discovery
Centre.

The Organisers reserve the right to :
(a) Retain, display and reproduce any
winning entry;
(b) Use winning entry as publicity
materials without any fee payment;
(c) Amend the rules and regulations;
(d) Reject/disqualify any entrant from
participating without prior notice or reason given.

All winning entries will be notified by
post or telephone call. The winning entries will be exhibited and the
prize must be collected on Saturday 17th April 2004 at Singapore
Discovery Centre.

The judges decision is final and no
correspondence will be entertained.

The closing date for submission is Sat.
10th April 2004.
