Kazuyo and I took the same flight back to Osaka. It was a long 12-hour flight(!) but we chatted all the way when we arrived in Osaka, we said "Already??". We could have flown right back to LA no problem! This picture was taken by Lonnie at the airport. Thank you, Lonnie! But how come I look so big next to Kazuyo?? It's not fair!! |

I visited Honda Clio Tokushima where I used to work some 14 years ago! A few familiar faces welcomed me at the office. From left: Masaki-san, Ku-san, Nabe-chan. I used to teach Masaki-san's daughter, Mika-chan, English when she was 13 years old. Now she's working! Time flies... Ku-san is in charge of all of the mechanical services at their workshop. Nabe-chan recently got married and he's one of the top salesmen the company has! |
Kaori is holding Shiro, Honda Clio's kitty for 2 years. She was very sleepy and she kept her eyes closed the whole time. |
Kida-san is looking good in her brand new uniform. She looks younger than she did 14 years ago! I asked her what she took but she kept her mouth shut. Smart lady.... |

Kazuyo, Kaneko, Kaneko's daughter Mariko, and I hang out at the Hyatt pool one afternoon. We chatted for a long time again. Noriko joined us later on, and we couldn't stop talking until we had to worry about our last trains home...we never learn when it comes to chatting... |

Keiichiro Yumura and his wife Sachiko came to Tokushima during Obon, and visited me on the last night they were in Tokushima. Kei-chan is from the town, and he was showing Sachiko the best Ramen and Takoyaki shops around. Kei-chan, thank you for taking time to see me. I'll teach you how to make the best Okonomiyaki when you come back next year! |

Kyoko Tamura, Kaori, and I went to have Ramen one night, then we went to Karaoke. The Ramen was wonderful, and we had a lot of fun singing at Big Echo, our regular Karaoke place in town. Kaori is wearing the Ai-dye bandana she made the other day with the Luncheez around her head. Isn't it lookng great?. |

Kaori and I went to Karaoke in Tokushima one night in September, and spent 3 hours just singing and dancing. It's our routine thing whenever we hang out. One thing we miss a lot is dancing at a night club. My friend ToyoP tells me that there is one in Kobe that plays 80's music all night. We definitely have to check that place out soon!! |
