Tammy Lynn Déry
Recipient of many bursaries, such as the prestigious "Irving Mandel Orchestra Scholarship 2003", and the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra Scholarship for the 2002-2003 season, Tammy Lynn is also a member of the "Golden Key Honour Society."
It is in 2002 that she will have obtained her Diploma of Collegial Studies from Vanier College, under the direction of Heather Howes. In addition to her collegial and university studies, that she is currently pursuing, she has participated in many master classes with some of the most prominent mentors, such as Robert Cram and Robert Langevin.
In September 2001, Tammy Lynn joined the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra as a regular member, occupying 1st, 2nd flute and piccolo chairs in alternation. In 2003, in addition to being awarded 1st chair with the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra, Tammy Lynn obtained a teaching contract, as pedagogical aide in flute, in the music faculty of F.A.C.E. School.
Tammy Lynn has performed, with the F.A.C.E. Symphony Orchestra, in some of the most prestigious venues in Montreal, such as Notre-Dame Basilica, Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, the Maisonneuve and Jean-Duceppe Theatres of the Place-des-Arts, the Pierre Mercure Concert Hall housed in the Centre Pierre Péladeau, St-Jean Baptist Church and the Claude Champagne Concert Hall.
Since 2004, she forms, along with André Chalifour as guitarist, the Temperament Duo.
