Tam-Tam's Fifth Theme Park
Official Information Page

Proposed at a December 2000 management meeting and currently under construction, Tam-Tam's fifth theme park will be like no other.
"We got the idea from Disney's EPCOT Center," Tam-Tam stated, but it expands upon that notion.
Without the futuristic portion, the Monorail, or the lagoon, Tam-Tam's park will be totally different from EPCOT.  "Ours is an international park; we hope to include up to 20 country pavilions inside of it."
The Visioneers have taken up this project with much enjoyment. "This one is our toughest yet," Amanda, Captain of Visioneers, stated after a February meeting in which Tam-Tam okayed the immediate designing of the park.  "In our past parks, we've used our own backgrounds and imaginations to come up with ideas and rides.  International Pancake & Coffee World was a lot like that; it was all based on pancakes, coffee, and our views of those.  Chinatown, though, is probably more like our fifth park than any other.  We were forced to do research before designing any of the attractions."
Much of what Amanda says can be seen in the preliminary sketches and ideas presented to Tam-Tam at the February meeting.  "We're having to conduct extensive research for each country pavilion," Amanda says.  "Not only do we have to come up with attraction ideas, but we also have to get them historically and geographically accurate."
Although the Visioneers are reluctant to release theme park details, they have mentioned a few attractions that are taking the top of the list.  One is a pavilion based on the city of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The town itself is divided into nearly 90 islands by canals, all connected by 400 bridges.  "We'd like to model our Holland pavilion after this," Amanda explains.
They would also like to see the waterways of Venice, which will be the main way of getting around the Italy pavilion.
Other attractions remain in secret, though. The Visioneers did say the countries they have been researching include France, Ireland, Scotland, India, Holland, Australia, Israel, Italy, Japan, China, Jamaica, and Egypt.
More details will be released in the near future regarding Tam-Tam's park.  For now, anticipate a summer 2003 opening date!

01/11/02 Update
The Visioneers have released the following update to previous World Tour theme park reports:
"We are currently in stage two of the construction project.  All building exteriors have been completed and we are now constructing the interiors of the attractions.  In the meantime, construction crews are also pouring the concrete for sidewalks and Amy, Director of Horticulture, is drawing up landscape plans for all the pavilions.

"The previously mentioned 20 countries to be represented in the park have been decreased to half the amount.  If we included 20 countries, we would not be able to include as much detail to each pavilion as we'd like.  The current total of countries to be represented is 11, with room for possible expansion in the future.  With a smaller representation, we will be able to put more focus on each country and add bonus attractions.  The total includes the countries of Scotland, England, America, France, Russia, Japan, China, Italy, Spain, Egypt, and Jamaica.  The countries featuring major attractions/rides are Scotland, England, America, Russia, Italy, Spain, and Egypt.  All other countries will focus more on landscape and the various cultures.  It is highly possible that we will not feature China (since it is already featured in Chinatown). If so, we will add Australia to the theme park."

05/11/02 Update
The Visioneers have released the following update on World Tour theme park:
"Stage two is still in progress.  The Horticulture Department is nearly finished designing landscapes for each pavilion; they plan to begin landscaping this fall.  Captain of Visioneers, Amanda, has started the process of drawing up the park maps and brochures.  She is also planning to launch the official site soon."
