"Onni" now owned by his breeder Tarja Hovila - Adamant's and Darren Skipworth Co-owned whilst in Finland with Tiina Mattila - Rwyn Finland. "Onni's" show career has been nothing short of amazing!! Winning his first Best Of Breed at 9 months of age in an International show, his first allbreeds Best In Show at 13 months under UK allrounder Terry Thorn. By the age of one year, Onni was already Number Three allbreeds in Finland. The following year "Onni" finished Number 8 allbreeds in Finland, and in 1999 after a sensational year he was RUNNER UP TOP DOG IN FINLAND by only two points!!! Shown a total of 104 times (97 official shows, 4 puppy shows) "Onni" has the following record - 64 BOB's (2x puppy BOB), 9 x BIS-1 (1 x puppy BIS) and sensational 41 BEST IN GROUP wins!!! His many wins have come from some of the worlds most respected judges, and more importantly some well respected Breed specialist judges - Don Miller, Diane Gunn, Jean Taylor, Yvonne Billows, Svend Lovenkjaer, Annika Ulltveit-Moe, Jessie Borregaard-Madsen, Colin Muirhead among others. Equally as important - "Onni's" producing ability. Already he has sired some very promising youngster's winning in Sweden, Slovakia, Austria, and Finland. "Onni" and his progeny in Finland have already won Best In Show progeny class at three International shows this year!! In our search for a new stud dog, finding the world reknown Adamants English Springers and Adamants Superman, it was more than we could have hoped for to incorporate this fabulous bloodline in our own breeding program. In a very short time a very strong friendship has been forged and we are thrilled and for ever indebted to Tarja. First of all for not only allowing us the opportunity of including "Onni" and the many generations of wonderful Adamant's English Springers in our future breeding plans, but also for her very generous gesture in giving the springer fancy in Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to see such an outstanding speciman of the breed in the flesh.
