The history of Lucke/PSSTT racing although short, is filled with years of fast driving, colorful cars and heart pounding moments.

The desire, urge and compassion probably started years before 1994 when three young Lucke boys (Steven, Scott and Troy) sat in the stands with their parents (Pete and Jerrie), watching the race cars with all their speed go round and round the oval dirt track trading paint at the Humboldt Speedway.

Sometime later in 1994 with a little spare time and some saved up money, Steven & Pete Lucke started building the first race car for PSSTT (Pete, Steven, Scott, Troy, Tara) racing.  Hours upon hours were put into building that car in the back of dads auto parts store.                                 With a little extra baby soft blue paint left over from a friend from                   ,  the 1974 Ford Mustang was put together with its fast engine and ready for racing.  The car and driver did very good that first year and the car even lasted so it could be used a second year in 1995.

Scott now at the age where he could "scratch his itch" started building his Go Cart in 1995 to race during Humboldt Speedways intermissions.  Now both him and Steven were going to smoke up the track.

Steven had a good series of race seasons from 1994 to 1999 finishing well in the pony stock points at Humboldt.  His experience included many top 5 wins at various tracks around Kansas.  After 5 years of going fast and turning left, Steven temporarily retired from driving in 1999.  Although he does make occasional appearances driving his younger brother's car, his fans are hoping he'll return to FULL time racing.  He is currently part of Modified driver #98 Johnny Allen pit crew, and also is a mechanic and car painter for Scott.

Scott is moving up the race ladder fast!!  He started out racing his go cart in 1997.  A couple years of several wins with the                                 and Scott was ready to meet up with older brother Steven in the Pony Stock.  So with a little sweat, blood and tears, Scott built his first car.  Learning from his older brother, Scott did very well.  Fans say that the most exciting time at the track was when the two brothers were racing at the same time.
In 2001, Scott moved up to the thumper class.  New rules, faster car, Scott again did well.  Now at the start of the 2002 season, Scott has built a Street Stock thats bad to the bone!  The silver #99 Silver bullet will surely give all race fans something to cheer about this year.  Look out competition!!!

Pete & Jerrie Lucke are the backbone of the racing team.  Their dedication and love for their sons have made the gruelling hours of work, the disappointment of losing, and the sweet smell of victory all that much easier.  Pete has put countless hours into helping put the cars together and all the repairing needed week to week.  Jerrie has been in the stands to rev up the cheering section, she also tapes many of the races.  Jerrie also does much of the designing for the paint schemes of the cars.

Troy, the oldest of the Lucke brothers, doesn't drive a race car, but is active in designing and painting on the designes for the cars.  Troy was in Chiropractic college in 1994 when it all started.  He serves as the Team Doctor for sore backs and stressed nerves.  He hopes to someday have his own car out there.
