Fun Activities in Tahoe
The Great Adventure TAHOE
Hi all, sorry for the lapse in communication.  Things are busy but we can't complain.  The summer is in full swing, finally.  We had an amazingly long winter this year.  We had two snow storms in June, one left about a foot.  The heat didn't come until July and it was awesome.  I am not sure where August went but it was nice weather.  It is defintetly cooling down now, snow is just around the corner, we can feel it.
So....for the latest.

The spring was awesome...lots of powder and boarding.  School was long, we didn't get out until June 27th with the snow days.  Stacy was working on small jobs and getting the paperwork and leg work done for the new construction.

Summer has been great but busy.  The new construction is keeping us busy.  We have also been wake boarding, mountain biking, swimming, golfing, and visiting with family.  We usually pick an activity a day after we get our chores done.  So far no back packing, we are going to try to camp in September when the project slows down.

We have had many visitors the last six months.  Kim and Jamie got in some great snow boarding, Malinda and Dean did some boarding but the best part of their stay was definitely the four hour sledding trips and the snow shoe hiking.  Terry and Havilah made it after we went to Mammouth.  Terry is now the "powder hound."  Keith and Cathy and Jack, the ever faithful visitors, got in lots of sun and walks and swimmin' with the little dude.  Megan and Steve and Shane always make the one or two nite trip for a Cantina run and some good food.  Gotta love it.  Ammonette stayed for a few nites, lovin' our cable and exploring Tahoe.  Then there is the family, we had a small reunion this year with my dads side of the family.  Most made it.  Shana and Mindy made it for a week and Krista, Jim, Ethan, and Zachary made for about 10 days.  We had a blast.
The new house is coming along.  I am attaching a link that should let you into a photo gallery of the new house.  Sorry for the delay.  The shell is almost done.  All the walls are up and the roof is going on today.  The siding and windows will be done at the end of October, we have to wait for the windows to be delivered.  We are adding a temporary driveway this weekend for the winter.  We anticipate completion by next spring/summer.  It is really exciting, still doesn't feel real sometimes.

I will try to keep updated more often.  Love you all.
