Just what you've been waiting for-- behind the scenes scoop on the Backstreet Boys! BOP gets exclusive dish from the woman who gets the Backstreet Boys to move to the groove, choreographer Fatima, and reveals which one of the "I'll Never Break Your Heart" honeys is a little on the lazy side and which one won't give up until he gets it right.
BOP: You are sooo lucky! Tell us what it is like
working with the Backstreet Boys?
FATIMA: We are really like a family, the and
guys and I. I'm the Backstreet Girl.
BOP: How cool. Do Kevin, A.J., Brian, Nick or
Howie ever ask you for girl advise?
FATIMA: Yeah, I get asked every now and then--especially
from Nick.
BOP: Okay, give us the inside scoop. Which guy
do you think is the most naturally gifted of the Backstreet Boys?
FATIMA: A.J.'s definitely the most naturally
gifted.
BOP: And which Boy catches on the quickest?
FATIMA: A.J. catches on the quickest. Nick is
good, too. I like Nick's flavor, he has a lot of flavor.
BOP: He sure does. How would you describe Nick?
FATIMA: Nick is just very dramatic and he just
has a little flavor to him that's kind of hip hop.
BOP: How about Kevin?
FATIMA: Kevin is good. Sometimes it's harder
for him to catch on, so he gets really frustrated. But he's funny. Once
he catches on, he's fine.
BOP: Are any of the boys ever a little lazy?
FATIMA: Brian's the lazy one. He's good, but
he just is a little lazy and he knows it--he says it to me all the time.
BOP: Tell us about Howie?
FATIMA: Howie is a hard worker. He catches on
sometimes last, but he's such a hard worker that if he can't catch on to
something, he'll make sure he pulls me to the side and we'll work on it.
He's come a long way because he's such a hard worker.
BOP: Wow, sounds like he's the hardest worker
of them all?
FATIMA: No, I think all together they are all
hard workers.
BOP: With all that work, they must be in good
shape?
FATIMA: They are in great shape! Kevin usually
works out a lot and Howie, too. Brian and Nick get together and they are
just off the wall.
BOP: Well, thanks Fatima, bet you're proud of
them.
FATIMA: Yeah. Those are my boys and they can
sing their butts off and they are so talented. I see how hard they work
and they don't complain. I'm really happy I took the job and I'm really
proud of them.
