Principle rhythmic elements of tango: simple, double and half time.

2:30-4:00 pm Workshop 2 – Vals & Milonga rhythm

4:15-5:45pm Workshop 3 – The world of Melody

Explore different rhythmic units : understand the architecture of the musical phase

1:00-2:30 pm Workshop 4 – Improvising to music for advance dancers (2 years +)

Drawing inspiration from regular and irregular rhythmic units and applying in real time dancing

3:00 – 4:30pm Workshop 5 - Piazzolla music

Different periods of his creation and rhythmic pattern in his music.

Workshops 1,2,3 and 5 are designed for dancers of all levels (not complete beginners) and no prior musical knowledge is required.
