I'm not addicted to entering contests . . . I just wanted the little dissection puzzle which was only available if you examined a mail order catalog, cut out the various pieces scattered throughout it, put them together, and found the big puzzle picture in the catalog they were part of. The upshot?  I got an empty box for the wrong puzzle as my prize.  Well, then . . .

2/2/2000 -- Below is a scan of the very small picture in the catalog.  I've called the company and found out that they have no more Lucky Duck puzzles, as they buy their giveaways in assortments.  They kindly offered to send a different puzzle, but this was the one I wanted.  So, I'm going to see what I can do as a result of scanning the little picture.

Tracing and recreating the puzzle on 2/8/2000.  I'm trying to overcome the distortion of the tiny picture of my prize in the catalog.

I'm working hard to undistort the pieces -- not there yet.

But I can't resist trying some figures . . . Does any one of these ducks look like the "lucky" one?  ;)

Or, I wonder . . . is it meant to be one of those ducks that bob up and down in a glass of water ???
