A Pretty good day with the D Nieces, considering. Half an hour together in the morning, and an hour & a bit before they went to bed. They went to Ballarat today to see Aunty Rob & cousin Esther. I went to work. Alley didn't spit the dummy with me today. Taylah & I drew a daylight scene on the computer (yesterday we did a night scene). Erica. Well Erica is Erica, in general, a seriously happy baby. A bit sunburnt from the tour of Aunty Robs farm, so I smoothed on some Aloe Vera gel while Mummy fed her. All up, a pretty fluid day for me with the nieces.
Status after today?
Hot & flustered from shopping/driving around town. My car is a sauna! The fan & air-co keep blowing a fuse, so I should get it seen to by Dr Auto-electrician. But... I did make 2 peoples day...
Tomorrow's schedule:-
Cinema with Taylah to watch a movie. Afterwards - shopping in general, with Debs & remaining neices, who have decided (unamimously Debs decision) to haunt some shops while I'm entertaining Taylah. Logic? Alley & Erica are too young to be amused by a movie for a whole hour & a half. That's okay. Taylah & I will be rolling jaffa's down the aisle & throwing popcorn. It's an Aunty (or Uncle's) job to teach the fun things in life ("lick the plate clean", "pick & flick"... Wedgie!)
And then there is this weekend. Aunty Tan & Uncle Matt, left alone to teach 4 nieces. Tracey & Shann will be here too! Tan & Matt; only spells trouble for any self-respecting parent. Fun for the nieces though. Remember - Aunties & Uncles are provided free of charge to teach "the fun things in life", no matter how corrupt, devious & unscrupulous. The devil holds nothing over the likes of Aunts & Uncles who have no morals or dignities (or children).
