Aaaahhhh, I *hate* uploading stories already! Have been working on the hosted stories pages all night. Must say it surprised me how many authors of incredible stories are willing to share them through this website. Wicked! On other note: beginning to get tired of Franka-and-Elijah-discussions all over the Internet. Who cares what girl is kissing those pouty Elijah-lips? I made a mistake saying on a message board that Franka might be Gollum in Drag. Should have gotten myself copyrights on that remark, as it is seen all over the Internet now *lol* Got an e-mail saying my page was so plain and simple. YES. That's actually pretty much the whole idea - yes. I wanted it to be plain and simple. I must say that even the layout I have right now isn't always as simple as I would like it to be. But people seem to like it, so no worries. On other notes, watched Schindler's List today. Remembered trying to watch it two years ago, but didn't had the patience to sit during a two hours black/white movie back then. Did now, and it was... wow. Really impressive. Watched the series of Malcolm in the Middle after that - less wow, but still - Francis is yummy! *lol* Guess that was it for now. Going to upload some more stories - humpf! |

Yup, some more hosted stories uploaded. Why you cannot find them anywhere? Because they are uploaded to my personal homepage space on the Net, but I have not put the links on the site yet. Why not? Because I want everyone to have something new to read, and right now I have been mostly uploading slash -and R/NC-17 rated stories. But some humor stories with a rating more like PG-13 are on my add list as well, so don't worry, it will be any day now (preferably tomorrow, but I don't know how things will go tonight - Geocities can be soooo slow at times). Watching World Championship Snooker on BBC2. Ebdon *has to* win, really. My favorite player is O'Sullivan, but Hendry took him down in the semi-finals. Combine that with the arrogant look on Steven Hendry's face and you might see why I want Ebdon to win from him. Ebdon is cool, he is a little slow in the game, but he is very passionate about what he does and his eyes and smile make me melt. He's ahead with 11 to 6 - and it is best of 35. Hmmm, stilla while to go then! Yay! |

*coughs* Today (and that basically means - Monday the 6th)... was an... awful and yet also a happy day. But unfortunately more awful than it was happy. Today, here, in The Netherlands - what we Dutchies consider *the* Democracy of the world, where everone can speak his or hers opinion without having to fear outrageous violence - one of our political party-leaders, Pim Fortuyn, was shot and died. He was *not* (as some people in the Netherlands seem to think) new in the Dutch politics, but it was the first time he had started his own political party and became so popular. YES, some of the things he has said over the past couple of months, were somewhat extreme - but over the last weeks, he has been trying to explain over and over again what his party believed in, what he wanted for Holland and he *was* popular. YES, people have been demonstrating against him and his ideas and his party - but still, when local votes were counted for 'his' city of Rotterdam - he got more than 30% of the votes. NO ONE, *ever* should be killed because of something he or she said. I *know* this has happened before in other countries - I mean, it is nothing new, really. But to Holland it *is* new. In the Netherlands, we still believe that political leaders can still walk the streets without having to fear for their lives. They can mend amongst the people in the cities and towns and ask for those people's opinions and when just recently one of our party leaders Melkert joined in on a gay parade kind of thing, just to show his respect for the way the Netherlands handle things when it comes to out-in-the-open-gayness - and people loved it and were far from violent. At least in the last two centuries it hasn't been happening that a political-party-leader was murdered because of what his party stood for. The Netherlands are in shock. I am too, seriously. No, I was not going to vote for his party on the 15th of May - but I still believe that this is BAD for the Dutch democracy. This will change so much for the politics in the future - and not for the best. He did not deserve this. No-one does, he didn't either. Pim, volgens mij heb je nog nooit zo veel mensen op de been gekregen - maar het had beter niet zo kunnen zijn. Het is geen troost, maar je moet weten: hier wordt nog lang over gepraat! Rust in vrede. Sorry 'bout that. What is the happy part of the day? Peter Ebdon won the World Champion Embassy Snooker. YES! It was tuff until the very end - best of 35. Well, it was 16 to 17 with Ebdon in the lead. He could have had the match by potting the black ball - and he missed!! He missed!! Even Stephen Hendry couldn't believe it. Then, the last leg came on: Ebdon got the first big chance - but missed one of the balls and Hendry got to the table. But he missed once too, and Ebdon could come back. Believe it or not, but Hendry got ANOTHER chance - the tension was breaking the both of them up - but failed and Ebdon finished it. He didn't clean off the table, but that was all right - he won! HE WON! *does happy dance* A big thank you goes out to Peter Ebdon and - oh well, for this time only, to Stephen Hendry as well because they played the best snooker match I have ever had the pleasure of watching. It took away the shock of tonight's events for a while. |
