When a man seats before his eyes the bronze face of his helmet and steps off from the line of departure, he divides himself, as he divides his 'ticket', in two parts. That part which takes delight in his children, which lifts his voice in chorus, which clasps his wife to him the the sweet darkness of their bed.
"That half of him, the best part, a man sets aside and leaves behind. He banishes from his heart all feelings of tenderness and mercy, all compassion and kindness, all thought or concept of the enemy as a man, a human being like himself. He marches into battle bearing only the second portion of himself, the baser measure, that half which knows slaughter and butchery and turns the bind eye to quarter. he could not fight at all if he did not do this"

Hello visitor, the truck thanks for visiting my little corner of the web. Quite a few of my friends have deployed. I wish them well and hope to join them soon. The year is flying by at a rapid rate. I hope that yours is treating you well. For those of you that have never heard of Eva Cassidy, you must check her out. Some of the most soulful music I have heard in a long time (sorry Norah). I haven't updated in awhile, or dated in awhile for that matter. I have a new vision for my little home here, and some renewed interest now that my truck is almost completely done. If you have any suggestions drop me a message and tell me what you would like to see. I have been doing some new flash animation and building some contextual menus for this site. Do not cringe they are not cumbersome javascript. So friends, drop me some pics and info, and yes I might make a little fun.

Ciao
Michael

" Aah Pickering, have you ever met a man of good character where women are concerned? Well I haven't, I find the moment I make friends with a women she becomes selfish, jealous, exacting, and a damn nuisance. And I find the moment I make friends with a woman I become selfish and tyrannical. So, here I am, a confirmed ole bachelor and likely to remain so. After all Pickering, I am an ordinary man."

" I find you attractive. Your grace and prose indicate you feel the same way towards me. But still, ritual requires that we continue a number of platonic activities before we have sex. I am proceeding with those activities. But in point of actual fact is, I just want to have intercourse with you as soon as possible."
