Songs from

'Into the Deep'

  Nature's Calling

Tribal people walking hand in hand
Walking the ancient paths across this land
Breathing in the whispers of the desert sands
I heard Nature calling my name
Swimming in the oceans of eternity
As the dolphins splashed around me
Carrying their message far beyond the sea
Nature's calling my name

Chorus;
And the message was clear and the words       rang true words
That the spirit's alive in me and you
Feel her love as she embraces you
Nature's calling your name
Nature's calling your name
Nature's calling your name

Butterflies dancing across the skies
Signal changes in my mind
Floating free on a summer's day
Nature's calling my name

Chorus.

Seven sisters call to me
they carry the seeds of our ancestry
Pulsing light to every part of me
Nature's calling my name.

   Walk the Earth

I went down to a forest
And I sat under a tree
A wise old man came from the earth
And this is what he said to me
He said you humans are relentless
Never ceasing to challenge the Earth
If you do not renounce your ways
The Earth worm upon you  will put a curse
He said 'Walk the Earth, Walk the Earth
Feel the Earth, Feel the Earth
Feel its heart beating, feel it breathe
Your Earth is Alive, Your Earth is Alive
He said, he said, he said, he said.

Wild Woman

Wild woman runs in the shadows
Chasing the wind, she spirals in the night
Behind her a cycle is dying
Above an eagle is flying
Run to the sunset and bathe in the light
The light is fading into night

Wild woman hunts in the moonlight
Soft as the dew, she drinks in the light
Runs with the wild wolves, bays at the moon
\wild woman follows a tune

And she says listen in, listen in,
Mother Earth is calling
Listen in, listen in, Mother Earth is calling
Sisters of the moon unite
Come dance within the firelight
Sisters of the moon unite,
Come dance in your dreams

Wild woman slips through the streams
Splashes in the sunlight and follows her dreams
Runs through the bracken, calls to the sky
Wild woman lives in me.

Wild woman calls to her mother
Wild woman calls to the Earth
Wild woman dances in the fire
And as her soul rises higher
She gives thanks for rebirth

Child of the Sun

Little boy blue come blow your horn
No sheep in the fields and the flowers are gone
And where are the trees beneath which we lay
They no longer stand with their ribbons so gay
They are gone, they are gone
But their spirits live on

Dear Lady Green, where does your heart lie
We've ravaged the Earth and poisoned the sky
And deep in the ocean that once swam with life
The tides they are turning on this darkest night
Dolphin song, your spirit lives on

Old Mother Crone, who sits by the lake
Praying now for her children's sake
And in her reflection, the world is beheld
She's crying tears for the trees that are felled.

And what has become of the child of the sun
The poles they are shifting, your time has come
A time for reflection, a time for rebirth
And it's time for the children to cherish the Earth.

The Weaver.

Spider, dear spider, what can you tell?
Have you brought me a story, can you weave me a spell?     Come darken my doorway with threads of bright light        And we'll dance neath the moonlight on All Hallows night.
Shape shifter shaddows, you hide in the dark
And wait till the dawning, the sunshine's bright spark.
You've caught more than insects, found more than gold
What treasures are woven in the stories you hold?

Whisper to me when in silence we meet
Eternity caught in time lies at your feet
Can you tell me my future, can you tell of my past?
Can you catch me a lover whose magic will last?
