My name is Tanya Lett. I am from Clay County, Alabama...country girl, I guess. I now live around Atlanta, GA...looking for a new start.
I am 28 years old. I have two children, Nicholas (10), Jacob (7). I have one little sister (living), Shauna, who is 18 years old. She gets mad at her big sis sometimes for trying to mother her, but I think deep down she does love me. :-)
A little about my personality... I am a mix of intellectual and artistic...conflicted between the two at times. I've taken many psychological test, etc. trying to figure myself out and I have found that I am an INTJ (if that means anything to anyone) which is approximately 1% of the population, and I am capable of using my left and right brain equally (which explains that artistic/intellectual fight I often find myself in) This also explains (I think) why I have never completely identified with anyone... because I am almost completely unique...the way I think, why I do things, how I life my life, etc. This coupled with my "good 'ole" southern upbringing (which taught me respect, honesty, and the value of hard work) means that you'll never find another me :-) On the lighter side, I have NO sense of direction. I joke saying, "I get lost going home everyday," but it is not far from the truth...lol. I have a very caring personality. I often try to help when help is not wanted (which is why my little sis gets mad at me sometimes). I love candles. I also love music...just about every type. My music collection ranges from heavy metal to country (well, one or two songs...anyway). My all time favorite song is "Hotel California" by the Eagles. My favorite all time movie is The Fugitive with Harrison Ford.
I love to spend time playing with my children, making arts and crafts, studying personality types and different management styles, working on my computer, writing poetry, decorating (anything and everything), and watching movies (mostly suspense). I have to be busy. I guess my favorite thing to do is standing in the rain...I know sounds funny, but it is the most relaxing thing in the world to me...I guess that says that I am not made out of sugar :-)
My tattoos are both sentimental. The butterfly is for Regina and a reminder not to drink and drive. The sun is for Candy. It is a reminder that special people are out there and sometimes in "odd" packages. Also, you can touch someone's life and not really mean to...by just living yours. All valuable lessons that I carry with me in my heart (and on my body :-) ) every day. At times I forgot, or lost touch with these lessons, so I decided that I wanted a visual reminder of how special these two wonderful people were to me and my outlook on life. One for my grandparents is in the works...just haven't figured out the exact design yet... something that is a reminder that at least two people in this world loved me no matter what...
