Tai Chi Background

2nd Degree Instructor

I became a 2nd degree instructor licensed with Three Dragons Way School of Chinese Boxing in January of 1998. Prior to that, I was helping in classes with new students and furthering my own studies with added seminars and private lessons. I started with TDW in 1991. Tai Chi Chuan (Yang, Chen, and Kai Sai Synthesis) has been my main focus of studies. Pa Kua and Okinawan weapons followed with a smattering of Tai Chi sword. Since then, chinese boxing has become my main focus of studies.

Biographical Information

I moved to Kansas City in 1981 and just kind of stayed.....They haven't kicked me out, so I figured that I couldn't be all that bad. My pursuit of knowledge intensified in 1991 and has not let go of me since. My wife, Darlene, and daughter, Briana, have sometimes paid a price for that, but they are very understanding.
