Why Homeschool?

A growing number of parents, for a variety of reasons, are choosing to
educate their children at home.  Any parent can homeschool their children,
providing that they love their children and want to give them the best
education possible.

How Do You Homeschool?

There are as many ways to homeschool as there are homeschooling families.
Some families have a curriculum-based learning style, some choose child-led
learning, and some use a combination of approaches.  There is no single
correct way to homeschool.  Each family must find a style of homeschooling
which suits their particular needs, values, and philosophy.

Is It Legal To Homeschool In Ontario?

Yes, homeschooling is legal in every part of Canada.  The Ontario Education
Act states in Section 21 <2> (a) "that a child is excused from compulsory
attendance at (public) school if he or she is receiving satisfactory
instruction at home or elsewhere."  For more information on legal issues,
