| Q. How do you like Lantana so far and do you plan to make it your permanent home. A. I can tell you it’s not New York City and not really what I am used to, but it’s quaint, homey and there is a variety of steak houses for one to choose from. I don’t know if I'd live here my whole life but for now it’s fine for my purposes. Q. Which are? A. My family has always prided itself on being at the cutting edge of the newspaper industry. I have bought a newspaper to continue on in that tradition of excellence that is the heritage of the Hollys. Q. “Heritage of the Hollys,” that's cute. Are you planning to incorporate that subtle wit into your newspaper? A. Just the facts ma’am. Although I really do like the way your newspaper is prone to editorializing. I wouldn't call that professional but certainly entertaining. Q. Define professional and please tell us how your newspaper plans to achieve this abstract concept. A. Although that's not a question, I’d be happy to. I think it is the responsibility of any journalist to act as a medium between the world and the reader. Q. And you, as a journalist feel you get to decide what is moderated? Isn’t that called censorship? A. There's only so much any newspaper or magazine can report in one issue. We have to pick and choose. Although I did like the piece this newspaper did on Rachel Mattson. I mean if she isn’t the salt of the earth then I can’t imagine who is; but your readers now know that don’t they? Q. Reports say you assaulted model Hunter Willington Fisher with a piece of filet mignon. How do you respond to those allegations? A. I think I should be allowed to fling whatever I want at Ms. Fisher. She is a vicious, manipulative, flat-chested murderer and a thief. Q. Are those just the facts, ma’am?” A. Thy certainly are. I can’t understand why the media has glorified this nymphomaniac. She built a condo on my husband and corrupted a Puerto Rican convent all in the same week. It must be some kind of Feminist thing but I'll leave it to your newspaper to speculate. Q. Is there a reunion is the works between you and up-and-coming novelist Gregory Hathaway? A. All I have to say on that matter is that Gregory and I had some miscommunications in the past and we will work them out the best way we can. Q. Complications like your marriage to photographer Kevin Fisher? Wouldn’t that constitute polygamy?” A. That’s for the courts to decide. My first husband Gregory abandoned me well before Kevin and I were married so to answer your question, it does not; but according to the state of California, building a condo on him isn’t considered murder, so whose to say? Besides The Lantana Times, correct? |
