| One of the "Lantana Ladies," Lacey Gavin is an educated, spirited party girl who lives life answering to nobody. She has been known to both charm men and drink them under the table, often in one night! Fun, witty and intelligent, she is the respected editor and chief of the Lantana Times which she brags "was flappin' in the mud" before she took over. Lacey is thoroughly career-minded, but her frirst priority remains her daughter Marina who she is trying to protect from something.
