God has had an obvious hand on our relationship from the start.  As time goes on Joel and I become closer and our loves grows noticeably stronger.  Joel proposed to me on Thanksgiving Day!  We are planning a small wedding of about 50 people, on our 1-year Anniversary, May 1st, 2005.  Joel is truly my prince charming, and I can’t imagine loving anyone else, or anyone loving me as much as he does.  He has shown me how healthy and satisfying a real love is.  I never ever believed in love at first sight, but today I understand that you can love some one at first sight and then begin to fall in love with them more and more as the time you spend together increases.
Imagine: a God-centered ceremony, with the bride and groom tearfully reciting their self-made vows under a multi-colored stain glass window, filled with sunlite and loving music amidst a beautiful scenery overlooking a lake, surrounded by greenery and spring blossoms.... this is what our ceremony and reception will hopefully capture, in Big Bear, CA.

Updates:
Joel and I are taking our engagement pictures FINALLY! On Friday April 1st, so we'll get an official picture up soon. :o) Thanks for the photographer Mom!

Pre-marital counseling is such an important part of this whole process. I know that there are certain things that drive each other crazy (Joel Hates my temper and tantrums; and I hate that he is not compassionate)  We also have so major issues regarding immediate and non-imediate family, and how their remarks and attitudes affect our relationship, but in our counseling sessions we are able to work through all that. Thank Goodness!
